OPM Fullback Fred Smale makes a try scoring debut for Devon U20 v Cornwall U20

Congratulations to OPM Fred Smale representing his county v Cornwall on Sunday 23rd Jan 2022.

Fred was selected in the starting XV at fullback.

Unfortunately Devon lost the game by 1 point (25-24) but took positves from narrow defeat to Cornwall u20 at Camborne Rugby.

Devon, playing down the slope, made a great start with OPM full-back Smale scoring in the 10th minute after a good run by dangerous winger Cameron Grizzle-Johnson. Brixham’s Bradley McKee brilliantly converted.
